Ultimately, this type of “nice guys are really undercover assholes” thinking spreads so that ANY man saying hello is automatically looked at like an asshole. (And let’s be real, how many times has a man said hello to a woman, and she automatically thinks he’s trying to “holler”?)
I can’t even be cordial anymore without getting the side eye from some women. Which drives me to keep to myself. Which is a whole different can of worms that I’m not about to open.
